El artista que presentamos hoy es ya todo un clásico con sus 84 años que tiene en la actualidad. Se trata de Richard Schmid, pintor realista de Estados Unidos que nos deleita principalmente con imponentes paisajes, pero también con pinturas sobre la figura humana y con flores.

Su técnica se asemeja a la de los maestros clásicos holandeses, flamencos y españoles. Sus amplísimos conocimientos en la materia los transmite en libros, seminarios, también en presentaciones televisivas.

Nacido y criado en Chicago, donde también curso sus estudios de arte en la famosa American Academy of Art, hoy vive en New Hampshire en un hogar idílico con su esposa, también pintora, que presentaremos en una próxima ocasión, Nancy Guzik.

Landscapes of the North

The artist we present today is already a classic with his 84 years that he has today. This is Richard Schmid, a realistic painter from the United States who delights us mainly with stunning landscapes, but also with paintings of the human figure and flowers.

His technique resembles that of the Dutch, Flemish and Spanish classical masters. His vast knowledge in the subject he transmits them in books, seminars, also in television presentations.
