Mary Whyte is a watercolour painter of great talent and worldwide prestige. She is living in the United States, from where she works and where she recently was honoured as the 2016 recipient of the Society’s Gold Medal during the Art of the Portrait conference taking place in Washington D.C. It was a recognition for her distinguished work that serves to foster and enhance fine art portraiture and figurative works in America.
