Unsere Künstlerin der Woche ist Julie Edmunds und sie ist eine sehr vielseitige Künstlerin, die in verschiedenen Bereichen der Kunst arbeitet. Sie zeichnet sich vor allem durch ihre Mosaiken aus bunten Kristallen aus.

Die Arbeit mit diesen winzigen Glasteilchen ist ihre Leidenschaft, denn damit kann sie ihre große Farbkompetenz zum Ausdruck bringen. Farbe ist immer die absolute Protagonistin, und sie ist die Meisterin, wenn es darum geht, sie auf eine sublime Weise zu kombinieren, unabhängig davon, ob die Werke Ton in Ton, oder ob sie kontrastreich sind.

Die farbigen Glasmosaike haben den Vorteil, dass sie als Ganzes auf unterschiedliche Weise betrachtet werden können, je nach dem aus welchem Winkel das Licht einfällt, um sie zu beleuchten, dasselbe Licht, das jedem dieser exquisiten Stücke Leben verleiht.

In ihrer Heimat England und auch außerhalb ist Julie Edmunds sehr bekannt, nachdem sie an mehreren Ausstellungen teilgenommen hatte. Sie lebt und arbeitet in der Kleinstadt Hertfordshire in Großbritannien.

Coloured crystals

Our artist of the week is Julie Edmunds and she is a very versatile artist who works in different fields of art. Where she excels is in the creation of mosaics composed of multicolored crystals.

Working with these tiny glass pieces is her passion, since with them she can express to the maximum her great mastery of color. Color is always the absolute protagonist and she is the master at combining it in a sublime manner, whether the works are tone in tone, or if they are in contrast.

The colored glass mosaics have the virtue that as a whole they can be seen in different ways, according to the angle from which the light enters to illuminate them, the same light that gives life to each of these exquisite pieces.

In her native England and also outside of it Julie Edmunds is well known, having participated in multiple exhibitions. She lives and works in the small town of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.
