Vamos hoy con el artista textil Ernesto Sillero, que es maestro en un arte muy especial, el de vestir a las damas en las pasarelas de moda del traje flamenco.

No siempre fue esta faceta la que estuvo en su punto de mira, porque al iniciar su carrera como diseñador de moda, pensaba mas en dedicarse a la moda masculina, pero fue cambiando su enfoque hacia la moda de novias, y sobre todo al del traje regional andaluz, en donde tiene creaciones muy emblemáticas.

Y de ello trata este post en concreto.

Nacido en Jerez de la Frontera, pero pronto mudándose a un pueblo de Sevilla, Lebrija, se crió allí con 2 pasiones muy diferentes. Estuvo entre ser veterinario para ganado bravo o dedicarse a la moda; lo ultimo ganó, como se puede constatar. Hoy es un diseñador muy reconocido en su ámbito.

Su gusto por lo especial se refleja en cada creación, dice que sus tejidos o estampados han de ser diferentes a lo habitual, solo entonces los utiliza.

Today we go with the textile artist Ernesto Sillero, who is a master in a very special art, that of dressing the ladies on the fashion catwalks of the flamenco dress.

It was not always this facet that was in his sights, because when starting his career as a fashion designer, he thought more about dedicating himself to men's fashion, but he was changing his focus towards bridal fashion, and especially to the regional Andalusian costume, where he has very emblematic creations.

And this is what this particular post is about.

Born in Jerez de la Frontera, but soon moving to a small town near Seville, Lebrija, he grew up there with 2 very different passions. He was between being a veterinarian for brave cattle or dedicating himself to fashion; the latter won, as can be seen. Today he is a very well-known designer in his field.

His taste for the special is reflected in each creation; he says that his fabrics or patterns must be different from the usual, only then he uses them.
